Mojang and Rovio Entertainment have teamed up to deliver yet another unusual DLC for Minecraft: Angry Birds. One of the first games to explode in the number of downloads on mobile phones, the birds of Angry Birds arrive in the world of Minecraft with skins and two new game modes.
Developed by Oreville Studios, the DLC features two game modes:
- Birdtastic: Classic Mode lets players toss birds from a giant slingshot to bring down swaying piggy towers, just like in the original Angry Birds games — only now in Minecraft’s beloved blocky style.
- Mission Mode: Presents the player with four unique environments to explore, challenging players to rescue members of the Angry Birds flock, including Chuck, Bomb, Stella, and more. Once unlocked, the birds are available as playable characters with their own special abilities to use against the flock’s arch enemies, the little green pigs.
Players can also find golden eggs that contain adorable Hatchling friends. With a total of six playable Angry Birds characters, ten character skins and an Angry Birds Character Creator item.
