Chefs Delight — Configuration
Every option in the mod is a house generation weight (0 to 100), of type COMMON, defined in Config.java (ModConfigSpec).
🖥️ Editing in game
Under Mods → Chef’s Delight → Config (screen “Village Structure Generation Config”). You can edit with a world open or from the main menu, and the value applies to every world in the instance — no need to set it per world.
📄 TOML file
FML writes the file chefsdelight-common.toml in the instance’s config/ folder (COMMON configs live in /config, not inside the save). Complete table — values exactly as in the code:
| TOML key | Screen name (en) | Default | Range | Controls |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cookHousePlains | Cook House Plains | 4 | 0 ~ 100 | Cook’s House on plains |
chefHousePlains | Chef House Plains | 3 | 0 ~ 100 | Chef’s House on plains |
cookHouseDesert | Cook House Desert | 3 | 0 ~ 100 | Cook’s House in desert |
chefHouseDesert | Chef House Desert | 10 | 0 ~ 100 | Chef’s House in desert |
cookHouseTaiga | Cook House Taiga | 4 | 0 ~ 100 | Cook’s House in taiga |
chefHouseTaiga | Chef House Taiga | 4 | 0 ~ 100 | Chef’s House in taiga |

cookHouseSnowy | Cook House Snowy | 1 | 0 ~ 100 | Cook’s House in snowy biome |
chefHouseSnowy | Chef House Snowy | 4 | 0 ~ 100 | Chef’s House in snowy biome |
ℹ️ 0 = the house never appears in that biome’s villages. Already-generated villages do not change; to see the effect, reload/start the world again (weights are injected at server start, on
ServerAboutToStartEvent).
