Mods for Minecraft: Java Edition

Modifications to Minecraft, or “mods,” are available through several third-party websites. These mods can add or remove content to the game or change how it is played. Note that these mods are not created, reviewed, or endorsed by Mojang Studios, and the same precautions should be taken when installing these mods as you would with any other piece of independently developed software.

Modding is not officially supported, nor can we provide support for mods. Modding can be complex and may cause your game to malfunction or not be playable.
